Before The Rain

We knew it would rain, for all the morn

A spirit on slender ropes of mist

Was lowering its golden buckets down.

Into the vapory amethyst

Of marshes, and swamps, and dismal fens-

Scooping the dew that lay in the flowers,

Dipping the jewels out of the sea,

To sprinkle them over the land in showers,

We knew it would rain, for the poplars showed

The white of their leaves, the amber grain

Shrunk in the wind-and the lightning now

Is tangled in tremulous skeins of rain!

Never Say Never...Challenge

This morning, while filling my dogs water dish, I had a thought....How About a "Never Say Never" Challenge!?! I'll start....



1. Never fill your dogs water dish, when you have to go to the bathroom! : )

2. Never turn the light switch off in a strange bathroom, before unlocking the door.

Baby Ryan

Saturday, I got to meet my new nephew Ryan, and I fell in love. I fell in love with his toes, his little chubby legs, tiny fingers, and the curl on the top of his head! I got to hold him, rock him, and he fell asleep in my arms (now, of course, I am his favorite Aunt)! I had to put that last part in because my sister Terry will say she is now the favorite Aunt (don't believe her)! : )
