"Toy Pony"

I have just completed "Toy Pony" which is based on a 1700's scherenschnitte papercutting.
The background is an actual antique French letter that is dated 1735.

Book Recommendation

I highly recommend this book if you are interested in scherenschnitte.

"Papercutting" ia a how-to guide by an acclaimed papercutter Claudia Hopf, featuring everything you need to learn the craft of scherenschnitte, or papercutting. Includes a list of tools needed, step-by-step instructions, finishing tips, and over 50 patterns for seasonal decorations and traditional designs. Memorial Day

"The March of the Dead" (The final verse)

"There was music, mirth and sunshine, but some eyes shone with regret; And while we stun with cheers our homing braves, O God, in Thy great mercy, let us nevermore forget The graves they left behind, the bitter graves."
