"Dolly" is a scherenschnitte piece, that I have just completed. The the inspiration for the silhouette comes from a 1700's papercutting. The background is an actual antique French letter.

I like how you mounted the silhouette on an old letter. I had been mounting my snips on paper from a book, but I haven't been lately. Not sure why I haven't been. Hmmmm....... I need to rethink this.
