This is the fourth in the new series titled "Bird Cage". To create this scherenschnitte piece, seven layers were cut using scherenschnitte scissors and X-acto knife. Next, each paper cut was then layered to achieve this look. "Fright" paper cut measures approx. 7" x 3", and has been mounted on a 8" x 10" 140lb archival off white watercolor paper.
You may purchase "Fright" @ Pfatt Marketplace!

Scherenschnitte is popular here in PA, too. I bought one of a lady doing needlework that I just love. I adore your work so much I am adding your blog to mine. Mine is about art in general, for beginners.
