Oh-me-oh-my! You had better believe I'd like a chance to win this sculpture! It reminds me of my childhood, except I did most of my reading in a Gravenstein apple tree. :)

Enjoy your blogging sabbatical.

Hello LD!
Luck would have it that I would come upon you today and be able to say a hello and goodbye until you return.
you revamp and revitalize yourself and return with verve! for life!
I have watched you evolve your creative side for years now and so glad that you have perfected this age old but extremely wonderful art form.
There is always a light on your path and as such it shines for us all!!
I am still on my same path with Rita entering her senior year next year and after that who knows. Please stop by my blog and Etsy store and say hello one day.
I love love this magnolia as it reminds me so much of the oldest tree in aptos CA the town I left before Sedona. there the oldest tree lived with huge magnolia blossoms. I photographed them for a day on my deck in every possible way and then hand tinted it and eventually the hotel bought it and it still remains in the restaurant aptly named"the magnolia".
Take care my friend and send a note when you return to remind me. I have to keep an eye on your work as it is always amazing me. Hope you and your son are well and prospering!
*******love Marianne and Rita******

Wow .. I am a sculptor and I just discovered paper art..I love it and I plan on trying to do some intricate paper cutting some time soon! I love your magnolia.. one of my very favorite flowers and scents... I hope whatever is taking you from your art comes out well and you came back .. I know how hard it is sometimes to balance art. which can be hard if not always in the mood.. and family and life in general..sometimes Id like to become more hermit like to stop all the distractions of life so I can work... I hope you are able to get back to your beautiful art soon!
