Presenting....Linda Manning Findley! She's one of my new "art retreat" friends! Linda is nuts for Altered Books. She has attended & taught at several art retreats in many states. Linda has been published in: RubberStamp Madness, Stamper Sampler, Altered Arts, Legacy now Somerset Memories, Somerset Studio, Somerset Studio Gallery IV, The Anthology of ATC (Artist Trading Cards) Other works: House of Cards an Exhibition of the Emerging Art of ATC's, Breast Cancer Art Deck for Susan G. Komen Foundation, in 2008 an Altered Dress Form for a silent auction to benefit Susan G. Komen Foundation. Some of the vehicles Linda uses for her art are: Altered Books, ATC's (artist trading cards) Canvas, Collage, Handmade Books & Journals, Jewelry, and Mixed Media Art ... which takes many forms.

Art Retreat

This past weekend I had the opportunity to attended an artist retreat, which was hosted by an amazing lady Jeri Aaron. During the retreat I meet 14 incredible artist. This week, I'll introduce you to a few of them. While I was at the retreat, I did complete a papercutting for Christmas, which I will paint before I mat and frame.
