Thankful

My birthday was over the weekend. For once I did not think "Oh, I'm getting older", but a feeling of total thankful seems to fill me. I am thankful for my life that I have lived, the lessons I have learned, and the lessons I have left to learn. I am thankful for my family, and friends, and the gifts that have been given to me, both those that I can see and those I can only feel. There is a deep feeling of peace and gratitude that seems to be wrapping me, as though a wonderful blanket has been placed on my shoulders. Is this the feeling one

receives as one grows older? If it is, I give thanks.
