Daisy told me she wanted to be born today.....
This is how the conversation went:
Daisy: I would like to be born today! : )
Me: But, I am working on a "Bird Cage" series and you just don't fit in. Sorry. : (
Daisy: But, You have that wonderful handmade paper from India! I love the rose petals, the little pieces of grass, and leaves! Today I WILL be born.
(She reminded me of my children...I really didn't have much say in the matter!)
Me: How will I fit you into a bird cage?
Daisy: I know you will do what is best. (I can tell Daisy really is a very nice flower.)
Me: OK....I'll just go for it, and see what happens!
Daisy: Like I always say..."Life happens while your making other plans"!
Me: I had to agree. : )

Oh my gosh!!! Daisy is just too cute! I love your work.
La Donna...these are two absolutely stunning works of art. I'm referring also to the elegant victorian lady w/birdcage in the below post. A treat for the eyes, I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite.

It's amazing what you can create with paper - I have trouble cutting a straight line! Daisy is beautiful. :)
That's so funny, I noticed you left a comment just a couple of days before I was there.
La Donna, you amaze me with your beautiful work-
Lovely! I love the extra dimension you're adding to your new pieces!

This is so wild. We are trying to adopt a Westie and her shelter name is Donna and we have a list of favorite names and as of today our favorite name is Daisy. Wow! I hope that this synchronicity means we are getting her.
I am amazed by your talent. Really beautiful piece.
She is just precious!
La Donna,
I AM IN TOTAL AWE and AMAZEMENT!!!! Can I add you to my favorite blogs to read. YOU HAVE TALENT LIKE I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE!!!
I just can't even find the words to tell you how BEAUTIFUL EVERYTHING is that you touch.
Hugs to you my friend,
Amy (Mom to the Four Sisters)
What a great new series idea!!! it is amazing where creativity leads you, huh? So enjoyable, whimsical, and makes me feel like bathing in sunlight fringed with birdies songs.
This is pretty. I can make handmade bird cages, but they do not look as good as this.
